1:15pm - 2:15pm: Honey Jack

Honey Jack is a singer-songwriter duo based out of Waterloo, IA.  This multi-instrument couple stays true to their rockin’ 90s roots while mixing in a fresh take on classic blues.  HoneyJack’s performance of your favorites and their originals delivers a strong sense of Stephen Tyler with a twist of Joni Mitchell.  Other influences of this pair include Stevie Ray Vaughn, Santana, Tom Petty, The Eagles, and The Foo Fighters.  HoneyJack has brought their blues-rock energy to event centers all around the Midwest and are working avidly to expand.  If you enjoy a sweet taste with a bit of a bite, HoneyJack is for you!

2:45pm - 3:45pm: HMS Marimba Band

The Heartland Marimba Ensemble is a touring group of the Heartland Marimba organization, doing concert tours in June/July and December. In June 2018 HME will be performing in Mason City, Waterloo, Cedar Falls, Ames, Cedar Rapids,

Independence, Iowa and Spring Green and Madison, WI. The performers constitute various accomplished artists from the heartland. The music spans many genres including classical arrangements, jazz, tango, ragtime, Americana, pops, holiday favorites, and circus. HME artists also serve as the teachers of the HM summer workshop for youth and community, SoundW.A.Y.S.

4:15pm - 5:15pm: The Ramblers

The Ramblers have been playing the Cedar Valley for the past twelve years.  Their set list is an eclectic blend of rootsy, Americana including songs from all over the musical map. The band features two of the area’s great guitarists, Scott Gallagher, and Iowa Rock and Roll Hall of Famer, Dave Christopherson who doubles on keyboard. Denny McCabe is on drums and Ed Narigon plays bass. All four contribute vocals.

5:30pm - 7:30pm: Zoot and Newt

The Zoot and Newt Band is a four piece group, consisting of the long time Cedar Valley duo Zoot and Newt, along with Joel Hundley on drums/vocals and Matt Hoffman on bass/vocals.

Jay and Jen started as a duo in 2013; within months they were playing The Hub; since then they’ve performed at such events as CHAF, My Waterloo Days, Sturgis Falls Days, and the Summer of Love Festival. The Band came into existence in late 2017, when Joel joined the duo, bringing his longtime bandmate Matt to form a four piece 70s rock band.
