The Traer Theatre is a community-owned, non-profit organization, operated by a volunteer Board of Directors. It was created for the purpose of providing an affordable movie theatre, for the benefit of the public.
The theatre was made possible by the hard work, dedication and financial donations of dozens of Traer area residents and businesses. The concession stand and ticket sales are operated by volunteers for every show. Seating Capacity is 144, with additional space for individuals in wheelchairs or with disabilities. Our auditorium features a state-of-the-art Dolby Digital Sound System.
