We have roller skating, birthday parties, an arcade, bounce house, roller hockey and roller derby! Skate South is home to Team United Womens Roller Derby and Team United Speed Team!
Fun place filled with all ages and backgrounds, very welcoming and it seemed like a very well knit community. The pizza Friday is a good deal, and at the end of each skate session they play a variety of games to wrap it up. Would recommend to anyone looking for a cheap and fun night out.
Large roller skating facility with party rooms. Family-owned. The staff is very accommodating. Good variety of skates available as well as wheel carts for the beginners. Very reasonable rates.
Showed up with 4 6-year old girls wanting to skate. Not reading all 30 posters on the walls I was not under the impression that no matter what time you show up, once your session ends, you have to leave or pay more money to stay. No worker informed us as well. A bounce house was also blown up for younger children. An additional $3 for unlimited play was charged for it. My son decided he did not want to skate and after running around for 30 minutes we decided to pay the $3 dollars to let him play in the bounce house. 5 minutes later they turned off the bounce house and shut it down. Once again not being informed that it was going to be shut down in only a few minutes. What a bunch of bull. I will not be returning nor will I ever recommend this to any friend, relative or acquaintance. I ended up spending $78 there and was only there for 1 hour and 10 minutes. Spend your money elsewhere. You won’t get your money’s worth at skate south.
It was really fun and great food for a skating rank. It has lots of space for sitting and skating and has vending machines, a bouncy house on occasions, and a small skating park area with hills and such. It's a nice skating rank and it's not too expensive either!
