Interesting and interactive. Great for kids and adults. We love to stop on our way to Galena, IL from the Quad Cities.

Really great place for kids. They supplies items to catch bugs and frogs. Boots to use to go into the water. Lots of trails to walk. We didn't visit all the places but they have an area for fishing to.

Great outdoor activities in warmer weather. Lots of local history. Things kids can play with. Cute gift area. Beautiful building, though some thing needed attention.

Great place to take your family. Went there last weekend and the naturalist took time to interact with my kids and introduce them to the animals at the center and explain about them. Nice place and great staff.

Says open 12-4 (Saturday 2/18) but it's all locked up! People work Mon-Fri, weekends are the times they'll be stopping!
