We drove from Colorado and this was our hallway point to our east coast destination. The room was decent but couldn't complain since the view was beautiful. Perfect spot for the kids to let out their wiggles after a long drive. Water park also includes a hot tub for us adults. We ordered room service and Food was amazing! Casino right across the street in case you were interested. The aquiaruim is just across the parking lot. Sum it all up to WE'LL BE BACK!

I wish I would’ve remembered to take my phone into the water park to show how much rust is all over everything. Half of the water features no longer work, including the big bucket that fills and dumps water. The water in the pools smells and tastes weird. We caught the life guard sleeping at the top of the slide. I did manage to get a picture of our air conditioner/heater which was full of mold. The room (539) smelled musty when we arrived, front desk was informed and we were told maintenance would be up to look at it. 2 days later it’s still full of mold. Bottom line this place is over priced for a room full of mold and a water park full of rust. Edit*** I told the front desk twice about the mold. I told them again at check out and he said he would have someone in management contact me. This has also yet to happen.

The room I had was clean, neat, and tidy. It had a very comfortable bed, and a wonderful view of the Mississippi. I fell asleep with the windows wide open because I couldn't stop looking out over the river and the lighted bridge. The walkway across to the convention space was easy to access and made it so I didn't have to walk outside in the rain to get to my business activities. Tony Roma's restaurant was moderately priced and the food was excellent. The waterpark isn't my cup-of-tea, but having it, too, attached to the hotel had me strongly considering the Grand Harbor Resort as a family vacation spot. Across the parking lot, there is a museum, and next to that is the casino. We could easily arrive at the hotel, never really leave the Port area and fill our week with relaxation and fun. I'll definitely be back. It's a great setting for a family vacation, or, in my case, for a chess tournament. I couldn't be any happier with the location.

We didn't stay here, so my review is for the waterpark and arcade only. My kids love any and all arcades and they really liked this one. If we had stayed the night, I'm sure my kids would have stayed until it closed. As for the park, we spent 2 hours here and my kids really liked it, but it did have some problems. It's obviously been here awhile and showed a lot of wear and tear. A lot of the levers and pull ropes didn't work, which really bummed out my son. However, all the slides were running and I never felt that any of the equipment was dangerous, just heavily used. We went on a Monday, so I felt the price was right for the amount of time we spent and what was available to do.

Very basic for what you pay. We weren't expecting alot it was a place that had a water park for the kids to play after a day of travel. But the water park was very poorly maintained. At first it was not a huge deal but then it became clear the lifeguard specifically didn't care. First one life guard in charge of watching the little kid area stood with his feet in the hot tub. Then that night I'm not sure if it was off duty lifeguards or kids of the life guard but they definitely knew most of the staff were just running around like there were no rules. Teenagers jumping down the toddler slides making it hard for kids to enjoy and the father of the boys was encouraging it. At no time did the other life guards speak up they laughed. I was shocked by the lack of professionalism. The man running the water park food stand was poorly dressed didn't even look like he worked there. Most of the other lifeguards looked bored and not interested in doing their job. The bathrooms at the park even my 4 year old told me where the worse bathrooms he has ever seen. For what you do pay the basics like a professional lifeguard staff that gosh forbid something happened would help and clean facilities to use should be common sense. I agree with other comments the beds were horrible. I'm glad we only stayed 1 night.
