5:00pm to 7:00pm - Trick-or-Treating and Hayrides (Hayrides will start at the beach parking lot and head down through the campgrounds to drop off people at Shelter 1 and head back to the beach)

5:00pm to 7:00pm - Halloween craft and games - Shelter 1

5:30pm to 7:00pm - Light Meal: Shelter 2 (Sponsored by Boman Funeral Home for the first 300 people who attend the event.)

7:00pm to 8:00pm - Autumn Night Hike - Shelter 2 area

8:00pm to 11:00pm - Haunted Woods Hike

Boy Scout Troop 17 of Webster City will be conducting a very scary hike for those people who want to enjoy the thrill of monsters and eerie creatures that chase you in the dark. The hike will start at the bike trail by the bench swing across from Shelter 2 and end at the north boat ramp. The hike will end with a hayride back to Shelter 2 and the Beach Parking lot. This hike is intended to SCARE YOU so don't go unless you enjoy being SCARED.

Celebrate Fall by participating in this family oriented event.

Campers - Decorate your campsite and enjoy trick-or-treating, along with a hayride. Awards will be given for the two best decorated campsites that evening.

Trick-or-Treat - Come in costume and trick or treat in the campgrounds.

Hayrides - Park at the beach lot. The hay rack will pick you up at the beach, take you to the campground so that you can trick-or-treat. It will then pick you up at Shelter 1 and go to Shelter 2 for the meal and night hike. After the event you may have a hayride back to the beach area parking lot.

Hike - Discover what Night Time Animals that roam around in Iowa. We will divide into four groups, everyone will start at the same time, and the groups will rotate through the four stations.

Haunted Woods Hike - Hike will be right after the Autumn Night Hike starting at the Boone River Bike Trail by Shelter 2 and end at the North Boat Ramp. A hayride will be provided back to Shelter 2 or the beach parking lot after the hike.

Note: There will be a $2.00 per person charge that will cover both of the Night Hikes. This event is a fundraiser for the Hamilton County Naturalist Program and Boy Scout Troop 17 of Webster City. There is no charge for the the events taking place in the campgrounds.

This is a nonalcoholic family event. All ages are welcome.
